Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of SEO to lead our SEO team and drive the growth of our SEO product. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our SEO strategy, managing our SEO team, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality SEO services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement our SEO strategy, including strategy, technical, content, authority, and Digital PR
  • Manage our SEO team, including team management, development, and recruitment
  • Establish our SEO offering as an industry leader through high-quality delivery and achieve industry recognition
  • Work with our sales team to develop SEO-specific pitches and projects for clients
  • Grow our SEO team revenue through existing services and identify new market opportunities
  • Ensure the profitability of our SEO department and manage budgets
  • Work with our wider heads and client planning teams to offer a cross-channel product to clients
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in an SEO role, preferably agency-side
  • Deep understanding of SEO, including strategy, technical, content, authority, and Digital PR
  • Extensive knowledge of profitability and cost optimization
  • Knowledge of SEO tools, including SEMrush and Screaming Frog
  • Ability to explain the relationship between effort and results to clients
  • Strong experience of building and maintaining client relationships
  • Understanding of the interplay between SEO, PPC, and Social
  • Proven track record of delivering results
  • Good level of Google Analytics knowledge
