Treasury Financial Director

We are seeking a skilled Treasury Financial Director to join our Finance team at NEC Software Solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in banking and cash management, with a strong understanding of multi-entity and multi-currency operations.
The successful candidate will provide strategic insights to inform business decisions, manage daily cash forecasting, and oversee payments to suppliers and group entities. This role involves working closely with the Banking, Payroll, and Accounts payable teams based in India and UK-based teams for Credit Control, Finance Business Partners, and Systems.
This is a hybrid role, with 50% of time spent working from home and the remainder in an office based in Alderley Edge, Cheshire. As a key member of the Central Finance Function, you will be responsible for managing and motivating an assistant finance analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily cash forecasting and variance analysis against budget
- Weekly updates to the Chief Financial Officer and Group Finance Director
- Payments to suppliers and group entities
- Involvement in improvement projects and integration of acquired subsidiaries
Requirements:
- Preferably a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or Accountancy or Treasury professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or ACT)
- Qualified by experience would also be considered
- Self-motivator with proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to identify control deficiencies, provide solutions
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, Intermediate Excel skills are essential
- Excellent team management and communication skills
- Experience in foreign exchange hedging
- Understanding of cash pooling and sweeping within a large group
