We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Night Nursing Practitioner to join our team at The Orders of St John Care Trust. As a qualified registered nurse with a current NMC pin, you will have post-registration experience and be able to evidence continuing professional development activities. You will have a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks and also have experience of or be willing to train in medication administration, catheterisation, end of life care, verification of death, syringe drivers, gastrostomy care, venepuncture, diabetic awareness, tissue viability, epilepsy awareness, and management of deterioration – sepsis awareness.

You will lead a team of carers, providing advice and guidance where necessary, and ensuring that high standards of nursing and personal care are met. You will deliver, monitor, and re-evaluate care needs in partnership with each resident, their key carers, family members, and the wider team at the home, as well as liaising effectively with GPs, hospitals, and external agencies.

The salary for this position is £24.75 per hour, based on a 12-hour shift. You will be working Monday to Friday, with weekend availability. A reliable means of commuting or relocation before starting work is preferred.
