Job Opportunity at Trinity College Cambridge

We are seeking an ambitious and skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at Trinity College Cambridge. As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist the Executive Head Chef and Shift Head Chefs in the production of high-quality dishes.

About the Role:

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of innovative and delicious meals for the Trinity community, including students, staff, and Fellows.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient and safe food production.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene practices in the kitchen.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and confidence.
  • Contribute to the development of menus and specials that showcase the college's commitment to quality and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a commercial kitchen environment, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality dishes.
  • NVQ level 2/3 in Catering or equivalent qualification.
  • Certificate in Food Hygiene.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
