Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Elgin, North Scotland. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and development of our corporate facilities electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake Preventative Planned Maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our electrical systems.
  • Perform emergency lighting, RCD testing, microwave testing, and other electrical maintenance tasks as required.
  • Respond to work orders and provide first-line support for electrical issues.
  • Install and repair plant and equipment, including lighting sockets, switches, and other electrical equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Time-served Electrician with recognized City & Guilds or NVQ qualifications.
  • 18th Edition Electrical Certificate, including 2nd amendment.
  • Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and their maintenance requirements.
  • Experience in Hard Services Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works.
  • Ability to work at height and knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and working safely with equipment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Full clean driving license.
