Kingswood is a leading provider of outdoor education, and we're seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Outdoor Activity Leader Apprentice. This 13-month apprenticeship program offers a unique blend of hands-on training and theoretical knowledge, equipping you with the skills to design and deliver high-adrenaline outdoor activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a range of outdoor activities using specialist equipment
  • Design and run your own sessions, developing your leadership skills
  • Undertake external National Governing body (NGB) qualifications
  • Provide entertainment sessions and create fun, exhilarating experiences
  • Ensure equipment and safety checks are conducted in line with company procedures
  • Comply with company H&S policy and Safeguarding Policy
  • Support centre projects and contribute to a dynamic team

Requirements:
  • English GCSE at level 3 or grade D
  • Maths GCSE at level 3 or grade D
  • OR NVQ or SVQ Functional Skills Level 1 or equivalent English and Maths
Compensation:
  • National apprenticeship wage: £5.81 per hour
  • Earn £10,982.40 in 12 months
  • Pay no NI or Tax contributions
  • Plus 5.6 weeks holiday
  • Rate increases to £10.10 per hour after 12 months
