About the Role

The Goodinge Group Practice is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Health Care Assistant to join our team. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing medical support to our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Administer vaccinations and medications as required
  • Conduct health checks and monitor chronic conditions, such as diabetes and asthma
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including checking equipment and ordering supplies

Person Specification

  • Qualifications: Essential
  • Experience of working in primary care: Essential
  • Experience of working in a GP practice: Essential
  • Previous Emis experience: Essential
  • Qualified in Phlebotomy: Desirable
  • Qualified to NVQ level 3: Desirable
