Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nursing Associate to join our team as a Teletriage Nurse Clinician. This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nursing Associate to undertake further education and training to become a Registered Nurse.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking a further 12 months of study with the University of Chester to become a Registered Nurse
  • Attending taught sessions in university or being placed in a clinical environment to achieve the NMC standards of Proficiency and professional values
  • Keeping in touch with their line manager and attending tripartite meetings with their employer and university to ensure their learning and attendance is on track
  • Reporting any sickness to their line manager and taking annual leave as timetabled by the university
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Registered Nursing Associate or Assistant Practitioner qualification
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in maths or ESFA approved equivalent (GCSE Grade A-C/4-9)
  • Basic IT skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Open to other learning opportunities within the Trust
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Positive and caring attitude
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • Ability to adopt the rotation and shifts required as part of the programme, including unsocial hours/nights/weekends
