About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Team Leader to join our National Homicide Service team, covering Central and East of England. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of Homicide Family Caseworkers to deliver high-quality services to victims and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Homicide Family Caseworkers to meet service standards and contractual requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve key performance indicators and improve service delivery.
  • Collaborate with Operation Managers to maintain the highest standards of service delivery across a geographically dispersed team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including Police Family Liaison Officers and Senior Investigation Officers.
  • Present the service and work to inform, educate, and encourage notifications and referrals into the service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of leading and managing a team in a similar context.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to travel across the geographical area, including occasional overnight stays.
