We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Support Worker. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding childcare and supporting our young people to achieve amazing outcomes.

About the Role

Our Preston home is a dual service that offers a smaller setting for two young people who need therapeutic placements. As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting our young people with all of their domestic needs, education, socialisation skills, and helping them to learn new things and experience fun activities and excursions together.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality childcare and support to our young people
  • Support our young people with their domestic needs, education, and socialisation skills
  • Work collaboratively with our team to provide a therapeutic and person-centred approach to childcare
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individual care plans
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Experience in a children's residential care home (desirable)
  • A level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (desirable)
  • A full driving licence issued in the UK
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centred approach to childcare
  • Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above
