Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a Rotational Physiotherapist, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, including Respiratory, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Orthopaedics, Medical wards, Neuro, and Acute Admissions and Private Patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality and comprehensive therapy services to patients, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Carry out comprehensive and appropriate assessments of patients with a variety of conditions and complex needs.
  • Develop treatment plans and carry out treatment of patients with a variety of conditions and complex needs, evaluating and modifying treatment sessions as necessary.
  • Take responsibility for own learning and actively participate in CPD activities, IST, audit, evidence-based projects, and other activities aimed at enhancing the development of the individual and the service.
  • Rotate working in a variety of clinical settings, usually for a period of 4 months, and work Physiotherapy out of hours services, maintaining competence in these areas.
Person Specification

Essential Criteria

  • State Registration (HCPC)
  • Portfolio of learning during training
  • Degree/diploma in Physiotherapy

Desirable Criteria

  • Member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
  • NHS experience in a Physiotherapy department
  • Record of clinical placements within NHS setting as part of portfolio
