Data Centre Security Officer

This is a unique opportunity to join ICTS Europe as a Relief Security Officer for our Data Centre client in Hemel Hempstead. As a key member of our relief team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the security and safety of our premises and people.
Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and technology-savvy Relief Security Officer to join our team. You will be required to work 12-hour shifts, supporting the ongoing operation to cover holiday and leave. You will need to be flexible and able to respond to last-minute requests.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage access control for buildings and car parks, ensuring only authorized personnel have access.
- Patrol buildings, car parks, and grounds to deter and detect potential issues.
- Check and challenge ID passes with a professional and friendly approach.
- De-activate and activate alarms, and unlock and lock buildings, rooms, external barriers, and gates to ensure site security.
- Monitor fire, security, and building systems, including CCTV.
- Identify and report Health & Safety issues and provide first aid if necessary.
- Respond to customer requests and queries.
- Maintain records, including incident reports, using computer- and paper-based systems.
- SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license is essential.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in security.
- Five years' checkable history and references.
- Pass a criminal records check (CRC) to the required standards.
- SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) license.
- First Aid qualification.
- Experience in a similar role.
