Working Hours: 42.5 hrs Monday to Friday
Saturday's 1 in 4 – 8:00 to 13:00
Our client, a prestigious automotive retailer, is seeking an experienced Luxury Car Technician to join their team in Crawley. As a key member of the dealership, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle faults, ensuring the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment and techniques to identify and rectify vehicle faults, meeting with customers to understand their needs and concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and innovations in the automotive industry, ensuring you can diagnose and repair faults on a range of luxury vehicles.
- Perform diagnosis, repairs, and servicing to the highest standards, adhering to brand specifications and warranty requirements.
- Liaise with colleagues and supervisors to resolve complex issues and ensure seamless communication.
- Verify the quality of work through diagnostic equipment and road-testing, collaborating with Service Advisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Complete relevant service documentation, including job sheets, PDIs, and service reports, in line with brand standards and site requirements.
- Conduct vehicle health checks and CitNOW video assessments in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Proven knowledge of modern diagnostic equipment and techniques.
- Ability to work to the highest quality standards, with excellent communication skills.
- Full UK driving license.
- Experience within a main automotive dealer is preferred, but not essential.
- VOSA-approved MOT testers are an advantage, but not required.
- Hold Level 2 or Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent.
