We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Pybus Recruitment Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach.
- Meet with customers to understand their problems and provide clear solutions.
- Ensure full understanding of the latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
- Liaise with colleagues and supervisors to resolve complex issues.
- Check the level and quality of work through the use of diagnostic equipment and road-testing vehicles after work has been carried out.
- Complete relevant service documentation in line with brand standards, warranty, and site requirements.
Requirements:
- The knowledge to use modern diagnostic equipment.
- The capability of working to the highest quality standards.
- Great communication skills.
- A full UK driving license.
- Experience within a main automotive dealer is preferable, but not essential.
- VOSA-approved MOT testers an advantage but not essential.
- Must hold Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair NVQ or equivalent.
