Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant to join our Healthcare Communications team at Hanover in London. As a Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding public relations services to our existing healthcare clients and contributing creatively to new business activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft high-quality press releases and materials for client review.
  • Manage projects against agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Provide timely and relevant review of media monitoring reports to highlight key issues for client dispatch.
  • Identify reactive opportunities in the news agenda to secure coverage and draft high-quality press releases and media materials for client approval.
  • Project manage client events including press conferences, media events, stakeholder events, and new business marketing events.
  • Support and mentor Interns, Account Executives, and Senior Account Executives.
  • Establish relationships with peers outside of your immediate team and across the wider business.

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of healthcare and pharmaceutical PR.
  • Excellent project management, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with relevant media outlets, both print and digital, as well as an understanding of digital communication channels.
  • Curiosity about the news and the industry environment, as well as the ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines.
