Job Title: Immigration and Sponsorship Manager

Salary: £32,000-£42,000 per year, depending on your experience.

Job Type: Part time, 20-26 hours per week, permanent

We are looking for an experienced Immigration Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing immigration applications to the UK Home Office, ensuring compliance with immigration regulations, and efficiently using the Home Office portal to ensure compliance with Sponsorship requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of employment-related immigration rules and sponsorship processes. They will also have excellent organisational and communication skills, along with attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage immigration applications: prepare, submit, and track visa and other immigration-related applications through the UK Home Office.
  • Submit applications for CoS codes in relation to skilled workers and liaise with internal payroll and HR.
  • Ensure all immigration processes meet legal and regulatory standards, maintain accurate records, and stay updated with changes in UK immigration laws.
  • Manage the Home Office Sponsorship Management System (SMS) portal, including issuing and tracking Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) and monitoring employee statuses.
  • Gather and review necessary documentation to support immigration applications, ensuring all evidence is valid and complete.
  • Liaise with the Home Office, applicants, and internal stakeholders to provide updates and resolve queries.
  • Coordinate and communicate internally and externally in the preparation for inspections and take the lead on inspection days.
