SEN Teaching Assistant
As a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work with various primary schools in the Beeston area to cover sickness absences on a weekly basis. This role is on a daily basis (Monday - Friday), which could lead to recurring bookings if the school finds you suitable for their needs.
The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children who have special educational needs and a strong interest in understanding the challenges faced by young people with mental health and trauma issues. A Teaching Assistant Level 2 or equivalent is not essential but highly desirable.
In this role, you will be responsible for building trusting relationships with students using a restorative approach and helping demonstrate the value of education to students. The successful candidate will undergo thorough background checks, including an Enhanced DBS check, as we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
We offer all training and support, provided by the school with their excellent training system, making it an ideal opportunity for those looking to gain experience and develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Estimated salary for this role is £83 - £95 per day, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs, please apply for this exciting opportunity.
