Job Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to support students with special educational needs in a primary school setting.

As an SEN teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with special educational needs. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans for each student.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children with special educational needs and wants to make a positive impact on their lives. About the Role:
• Estimated salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum.
• Location: NG9, Nottingham.
• Job Type: Full-time.
• About 25 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support teachers in delivering lessons and developing individualized education plans for students with special educational needs.
• Work closely with other support staff to provide holistic support to students.
• Assist students with their daily tasks and activities, such as homework and personal care.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
• Previous experience as a teaching assistant or support worker in a primary school setting.
• Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support is advantageous.
• Passion for supporting students with special educational needs and making a positive impact on their lives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
