Job Title: Senior Biodegradation Scientist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Biodegradation Scientist to join our team at Labcorp. As a key member of our Environmental Sciences team, you will be responsible for providing scientific leadership and expertise in biodegradation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of biodegradation services, ensuring high scientific standards and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to deliver biodegradation studies and reports to clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to promote and deliver biodegradation services.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical, scientific, and regulatory developments in biodegradation, and apply this knowledge to improve services and solutions.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, pricing, and project delivery for bespoke biodegradation studies and programs.
  • Provide scientific judgment and interpretation of study data, and communicate results to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum BSc in Chemistry or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in biodegradation, with in-depth scientific and regulatory knowledge.
  • Strong communication, networking, and negotiating skills.
  • Objective and logical analytical and reasoning skills.
  • Good commercial and business awareness.
  • Proven project management and customer liaison skills.
