Occupational Therapist for Children and Young People

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Dumfries and Galloway. The successful candidate will work within the CAMHS service, focusing on ADHD, and will be part of a dynamic team providing therapy and support to children and families in community settings.
The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. They will be committed to service improvement and have a flexible approach to work, with a willingness to travel extensively due to the rural nature of the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and intervene with children and young people with possible ADHD
- Work closely with the Occupational Therapy Team Lead and ADHD CAMHS team
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team
- Provide peer support and operational supervision to colleagues
