GB001 Marsh Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Director of UK Surveying Operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of our Surveying Services proposition across various UK sectors, including Corporate and Commercial, Education, High New Worth, and Real Estate clients.



Job Description

As the Director of UK Surveying Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the initial development, strategic direction, operational management, and successful delivery of our surveying proposition. This includes recruiting, leading, and managing a team of surveyors, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, adherence to quality standards, and regulatory compliance.



Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive surveying services proposition across various UK sectors
  • Lead and manage a team of surveyors, ensuring high-quality service delivery and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate surveying services into existing Marsh services
  • Assess project and operational costs, providing recommendations based on cost-effectiveness and potential return on investment
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to surveying services
  • Promote surveying services, generate leads, and expand revenue opportunities through collaboration with marketing and business development teams
  • Provide expert guidance and support to clients, addressing their complex property claims, insurance response, and other related needs


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as surveying, engineering, or a related discipline with RICS or similar professional status. You should have proven surveying services experience in the insurance industry, familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance related to insurance surveying services, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies, and a willingness to travel as needed are also essential.



What We Offer

GB001 Marsh Ltd offers a highly competitive salary in the range of £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including 27 days annual leave, up to 4 days flexible bank holidays, excellent pension contributions, private medical cover, life assurance, income protection, employee assistance program, and flexible benefits. Location

This role is based in the UK, with occasional travel required. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our Surveying Services proposition.
