About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at The Cambian Group. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our residential homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and care to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical and local authorities to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring that the needs of each resident are met.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe and supportive living environment, promoting a sense of community and belonging among residents.
  • Engage in activities and outings that promote socialization, education, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure that the needs of residents are met, and that the home runs smoothly.
Requirements
  • A UK driving license is essential for this role.
  • Experience working with children and young people is desirable, but not essential as full training and support will be provided.
  • Able to work on a rota basis, including sleep-ins, and be flexible to meet the needs of the home.
  • Ability to read situations and help residents make positive choices.
