Job Overview:

As a Lead Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team to provide exceptional care and support for young people, aged 8-25 years. You will work closely with our staff to ensure that we deliver high-quality care and meet the individual needs of each child.

About the Role:

This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of £47,000 - £50,000, plus excellent benefits. If you have experience as a Registered Manager or similar, and hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent qualification, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of carers to provide exceptional care and support for young people in a residential setting.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • Ensure that all aspects of care are delivered to a high standard, meeting the requirements of Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required by management and regulatory bodies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience within a children's residential setting.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent qualification.
  • Understanding of Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation for children's services.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding policies and practices.
