Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced Accommodation Procurement Officer to join our Housing Options team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for procuring good quality accommodation for homeless and potentially homeless households, as well as care leavers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with Housing Officers, Through Care Services, and other stakeholders to ensure that properties procured meet the needs of our residents.
  2. Procure accommodation that is affordable, suitable, and compliant with legislation.
  3. Conduct inspections of properties to ensure they meet our standards.
  4. Provide expert advice on property standards and costs to our teams and stakeholders.
  5. Manage data and provide accurate reports as required.

Requirements

  • Driving license required for regular inspections.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of managing data and providing reports.
