Associate Director - Project Management

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our Project Management Corporate Occupier team in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery. You will provide support on major Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for an aspect of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters
  • Lead on compliance for quality, safety, health, and environment issues on project commissions
  • Lead on establishing effective project governance, processes, and systems to be utilised throughout the project
  • Lead on Project planning, including producing the detailed project plan
  • Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team
  • Leading on the monitoring and applying performance management techniques
  • Leading and advising upon project finances
  • Leading and advising on Contract Administration processes, claims resolution, and disputes
  • Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
  • Preparing formal project progress and other reports
  • Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction, or other related fields
  • At least 10 years of experience working on interior fit-out projects
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Project)
  • Good analytical skills, able to execute multiple projects at the same time without disruptions
  • Demonstrated experience of a willingness and ability to consistently dive deep into project delivery, creative problem solving, and the ability to push past barriers to achieve full project execution
  • Fluent in business English is a must (additional regional languages are a plus)
