We are seeking a skilled EHCP Coordinator to join The Bedford College Group at our Dunstable Campus.

As an EHCP Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) receiving High Needs Funding (HNF).

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality support for students with EHCP
  • Undertaking students' annual reviews in line with statutory duties
  • Providing training across curriculum areas to support the needs of students with EHCP and HNF
  • Maintaining close links with curriculum areas to support and review students' progress
  • Supporting students' transition into college and to support progression opportunities

About You:

  • A Levels or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject
  • English and Maths or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent
  • Graduate and/or vocational training at an equivalent level in a relevant subject such as Education, Health and Social Sciences
  • Experience of working with young people with SEND and EHCP
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, equality, and diversity issues in education
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Excellent IT, administrative, and record-keeping skills
