Specialist Nurse for In-Reach Support

This exciting opportunity is for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join the innovative In-Reach team, supporting people with learning disabilities who require in-patient care in acute mental health settings.
The successful candidate will work closely with MH in LD teams across three boroughs and the Intensive Community Support Team.
This full-time post involves carrying out clinical supervision and teaching staff and/or students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop formal links with managers across Oxleas Acute and Crisis and Mental Health inpatient wards.
- Work with inpatient wards to identify reasonable adjustments for admissions who have a learning disability.
- Coordinate regular meetings with In-Reach Psychiatrist and Band 3-4 nursing associate role to discuss caseload priorities and team development.
Requirements:
- Educated to at least degree level or equivalent with a specialist Mental Health qualification if RNLD and LD qualification if RMN.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and relevant NHS policy.
