We are seeking an experienced Clinical, Counselling or Forensic Psychologist to join our team at The Spinney Hospital in Atherton, Manchester. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based psychological assessments, formulations, and interventions for individuals with complex mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group interventions, including cognitive-behavioural therapy and other evidence-based approaches.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that promote psychological wellbeing and safety.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures.
- Provide clinical supervision and training to junior staff members.

- Current registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Relevant experience in specialist, complex assessment, formulation, and treatment of people with mental health difficulties.
- Knowledge of risk assessment and management.
- Experience of supervising psychology and other healthcare colleagues.
