Job Title: KDB+ Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled KDB+ Developer to join our team at Treliant. As a KDB+ Developer, you will be responsible for developing software solutions using KDB+, a high-performance database and programming language. You will work with global clients to ingest large volumes of high-frequency time series data and deliver new functionality to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work with global clients to ingest large volumes of high-frequency time series data
* Work with business users to define application requirements and deliver new functionality
* Involvement in all aspects of SDLC planning, creating, testing, and deploying software solutions
* Analyzing data and delivering concise insights to business users
* Working as part of a team to deliver solutions
* Assisting in training of junior developers
* Taking ownership of critical activities

Qualifications:

* Strong educational background
* Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority
* Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* 1/2+ years using KDB+ to develop software
* Experience with Unix environments
* Demonstrated client experience and track record developing software solutions
* Good knowledge and experience with SDLC, including design, architecture, developing code, testing, and deployment
* Experience with tick architecture, large-scale data capture, and data analysis
* Ability to write clean and efficient code
* Experience in other languages like Java, C++, or Python
