Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Heathfield House, a male mental health rehabilitation unit in Stockport. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.
Main Responsibilities- Act as the named nurse with responsibility for the overall care of an identified group of clients, ensuring their needs are met and their well-being is prioritized.
- Regularly act as shift co-ordinator, ensuring the smooth running of the clinical area and optimal utilization of resources, with support from senior staff.
- Contribute to the provision of safe and effective care, adhering to all Trust policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Person Specification- Registered Mental Health Nurse qualification.
- Completed supervisor and/or assessor training.
- Experience of working within a mental health setting, with a strong understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983 and Code of Practice.
- Knowledge of equality and diversity principles, with the ability to apply these in practice.
