About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Gastroenterology team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and develop individualized care plans for patients with gastroenterology conditions
  • Deliver high-quality nursing care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing emotional support to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
  • Participate in education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in gastroenterology nursing
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to gastroenterology care

Requirements

  • NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in gastroenterology nursing or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic patient record systems
