Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + Excellent Benefits

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Expert Consultant to join our client's team. As an AI Expert Consultant, you will contribute to innovative projects that protect the UK from emerging threats.

  1. Conduct in-depth research into state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and related emerging technologies.
  2. Design, develop and implement machine learning models for a variety of tasks, from proof-of-concept to working prototypes.
  3. Understand the underlying algorithms, mathematical concepts and workings of machine learning techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strong technical skills and proven track record in machine learning research, with a focus on deep learning techniques and neural network architectures.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow and Keras; data manipulation libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
  • Experience with emerging machine learning technologies such as RL, XAI and Generative AI including LLMs.
  • Strong coding proficiency in Python.
  • Post-Graduate Degree and research experience or a PhD in a relevant field such as Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain UK security clearance.

Please note that due to the nature of work undertaken by our client, incumbents of these positions are required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK Security Vetting.
