Senior AI/ML Expert for Biomedicine

The MRC-BSU is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI/ML Expert to lead their research team in the area of AI/ML methods for biomedicine and health.

As a key member of the faculty, you will develop and pursue your own research agenda, supervise junior staff, and contribute to strategic development.

The Unit has a strong track record of developing future leaders and provides extensive support services and computational infrastructure.

Located on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, the MRC-BSU enjoys close collaborative links with world-leading centres, including the Cambridge University hospitals and the Wellcome Sanger Institute.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £65,000 - £90,000, depending on experience.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
  • Proven expertise in AI/ML methods and applications in biomedicine and health
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
