Join Our Team as a Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Doonbank House Care Home. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Support residents with their mobility and transfer needs
  • Engage with residents in activities and hobbies, promoting social interaction and well-being

Requirements:

  • SVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • At least 6 months experience working as a Care Assistant or in a related field
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.10
  • 30 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave
  • Pension scheme
  • Onsite parking and uniform provided
  • PVG paid
