Future Education - SEN Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teacher to join our team as a SEN Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH and ASD.
  • Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students, ensuring they are regularly reviewed and updated.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, using appropriate strategies to support students with challenging behaviours.
  • Work collaboratively with Behaviour Support Staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student development.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (either Primary or Secondary trained teacher).
  • Taught in either a SEMH School / PRU/ Alternative Provision/ Primary School OR a Secondary School.
  • Experience in managing classroom behaviour and working with students who require additional support.

Salary and Benefits:

  • A competitive daily rate of £160 - £230 per day.
