About the Role:

The Marketing Assistant will be working on a wide range of projects with a direct reporting line to the Managing Director. The candidate will be given a lot of exposure to different aspects of our business and will work with all other departments including Technical and Operations to carry out the following functions.

Ecommerce Marketing:

  • Write product listings for new products
  • Use SEO principles to write listings
  • Take photos of products for listings
  • Use BITMAP editing software to edit photos
  • Update website product listings using WordPress
  • Conduct keyword research for SEO purposes

Social Media Marketing:

  • Write and publish articles through social media channels
  • Film videos of products for use on social media platforms
  • Work with the MD to create a posting schedule and plan
  • Contact customers to obtain permission to include them in posts
  • Test and measure social media performance to improve results

Marketing Materials:

  • Assist in the development of new websites and upgrading existing ones
  • Assist in the creation of brochures, posts, adverts, and other marketing materials
  • Assist in the development of materials for shows and exhibitions, such as banners and posters
  • Help film product demos, tests, and other video format material
  • Take photos of products and scenes as needed

Direct Marketing:

  • Assist in the implementation of our new CRM system
  • Assist in the creation and deployment of email marketing campaigns

News Content Creation:

  • Publish stories about security companies
  • Contact companies to publish for free on our site
  • Create a publication schedule for editorials and news

Physical Marketing:

  • Introduce our products to clients at shows and exhibitions
  • Attend events for marketing purposes as needed
