We're seeking a skilled District Retail Merchandising Specialist to join our team in the Amesbury area. As a key member of our field-based retail merchandising team, you'll work with high street retailers on behalf of leading household name brands. Your primary responsibility will be to fill coverage gaps across a defined district, visiting multiple retail outlets to meet district and regional targets.

At eXPD8, we work across various categories, including Books and Entertainment, Fashion, Grocery, Health and Beauty, Beers, Wines and Spirits, and Toys. Your role will involve ensuring fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well-stocked.

About the Role:

Confirmed working hours: A minimum of 15 hours per week, with a requirement to work a minimum of 5 days, including Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.

This role covers the Amesbury area and surrounding regions.

A full UK driving licence and access to a car for business purposes are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance and Standards: You'll adhere to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies, and health and safety protocols.
  • Product Placement and Replenishment: You'll arrange and organize products on shelves and displays to maximize visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Building: You'll build and maintain good working relationships with in-store colleagues, particularly department and store managers.

Requirements:

  • Happy to travel across the defined area.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a car for business purposes.
  • Comfortable with manual handling, as you'll need to move and arrange products from the warehouse to the shop floor.
  • Experience in merchandising, retail, and/or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, using your own initiative to find solutions.
  • Pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients.
  • Experience in training or coaching colleagues is a bonus.
  • Will to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (additional payment applies).
  • Confidence in using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos, and answer questions about your tasks.
