Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estate Enhancement Operative to join our team at CRA GROUP LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving the physical condition, safety, and aesthetics of our housing stock communal areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out internal and external enhancement works to agreed service standards and specifications.
  • Monitor and undertake the enhancement works of internal and external areas of the buildings within the estate boundary.
  • Organise and assist in the removal of bulk rubbish from the estate, including moving bulky items to agreed collection points.
  • Undertake the removal of graffiti from buildings and equipment within given timescales of it being found/reported.
  • Use appropriate powered equipment, including strimmers, mowers, pressure washers, and wet/dry vacuum cleaners.
  • Clear gullies, entrances, and exit paths to blocks and access to refuse disposal facilities during periods of frost, snow, and abnormal weather conditions.
  • Paint communal areas as directed by line managers.
  • Undertake ground maintenance duties, including weed/moss clearance from hard surface areas and clearance of weeds and debris from shrub beds.
Requirements
  • Previous handy person and grounds maintenance experience is essential.
  • Experience of working with the public either individually or part of a team, with the ability to work in all weather conditions.
  • General education qualification is essential.
