Opportunity

Our client, FFR Limited, a dynamic and forward-thinking business in the ecommerce sector, is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Head of Finance.

This position will involve working closely with the CEO and founders of the company, overseeing month-end duties, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and implementing and improving financial controls. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to guiding the strategic direction of the business, identifying areas for improvement, and enhancing profitability.

About the Role

As the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for managing the finance function of a successful SME, working collaboratively with the CEO and supported by an accounts junior.

  • Develop and implement financial controls, driving process improvements and shaping the finance function.
  • Manage the year-end and audit process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Lead and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Conduct financial analysis across the business, identifying opportunities to increase profitability and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Participate in various projects, requiring a hands-on approach, adaptability, and a strong finance background.
  • Strong finance background, either chartered or qualified by experience, is essential.
  • A willingness to integrate into the company culture and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
