Clinical Fellow

An exciting opportunity exists to appoint a Senior Clinical Fellow in HPB Surgery to the HPB and Liver Transplant service following an increase in the unit's clinical activity. The post will be fully integrated into the elective and emergency workload of the Department, covering the major specialty of HPB surgery, Sarcoma surgery as well as Liver Transplantation. In addition, all post-holders will be expected to participate in a rota for daytime cover for HPB patients, including weekends. This post is not recognised by the Deanery (HEE) for training. A full educational programme is available and opportunities may be available for some of the post-holders to join the active postgraduate research programme within the department including, where appropriate, registration for a higher degree. All candidates must be registered and licenced with the General Medical Council.
