Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatrician to join our team as a Community Consultant Paediatrician. This is a substantive full-time position in the Barking and Dagenham Specialist Children Service, based at the Child and Family Health Centre.

Job Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care to babies, children, and young people in Barking & Dagenham.
  • Offer senior medical guidance and support to the team.
  • Develop strong relationships with patients, families, and external healthcare providers.
  • Participate in the local Child Protection rota and work closely with other professionals.
Person Specification
  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice.
  • CCT or equivalent qualification.
  • Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Community Child Health.

Salary: £110,000 - £140,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
