At Darco International Inc, we are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As an Agile Equipment Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive diagnostic and repair services for heavy machinery. With your expertise in plant equipment and strong communication skills, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs and resolve any mechanical or electrical issues in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.

The salary range for this position is £38,500 - £43,800 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including 25 days holiday, company pension scheme, healthcare, company share scheme, and various flexible benefits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing estimates of arrival time at customer sites based on job instructions from the branch
  • Identifying parts required for repairs and requisitioning them as needed
  • Undertaking repair and service work on machines to agreed work plans

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of heavy earthmoving equipment operating knowledge
  • Formal training (NVQ Level 3) and experience as a service engineer
  • Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
