Job Title: Collections Agent

Talent-UK Ltd is seeking a skilled Collections Agent to join our team in Sheffield. As a key member of our client's team, you will play a crucial role in helping to recover outstanding debts and arrange payment solutions for our clients.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to work in a fast-paced contact centre environment. As a Collections Agent, you will be responsible for making and receiving telephone calls with customers to arrange payment of outstanding debts. You will also be required to enter accurate records of conversations and payment agreements into a customer database.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Make and receive telephone calls with customers to recover outstanding debts
  • Handle difficult conversations in a sensitive and professional manner with customers over the telephone
  • Enter accurate records of conversations and payment agreements into a customer database
  • Follow processes and guidelines regarding debt collection
  • Work in an open plan, contact centre environment to achieve personal and team targets
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' collections experience
  • Clear and confident communications skills - both written and over the telephone
  • Be comfortable working to targets
  • Strong IT skills - our client uses different technologies and systems
