Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PostgreSQL Database Engineer to join our Database Platform Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of databases across the business, housing large quantities of financial data and delivering critical information for significant business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement databases to meet the needs of our business, ensuring high performance, scalability, and data security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Lead the implementation of database management systems, including PostgreSQL, Snowflake, MongoDB, and Redshift.
  • Develop and maintain database infrastructure, including AWS services, Python scripts, Terraform, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in PostgreSQL database administration, including design, development, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, and RDS.
