About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Solvency II Expert to join our global Insurance/Reinsurance company.

The successful candidate will work closely with the senior management team in Bermuda, providing support across various departments, including Investments, Treasury, Finance, Actuarial, Capital Partners, Portfolio Analytics, and Underwriting.

The role involves developing and maintaining risk management strategies, monitoring and reporting activities, as well as assisting with quarterly and annual solvency reports for both the Group (Solvency II Framework) and Bermuda Solvency Capital Requirements (BSCR) insurance entities.

A key responsibility will be to assist business planning through capital projections and scenario analysis, producing clear and concise documentation and communicating insights to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of risk-based capital models under the Bermuda or Solvency II Framework, advanced Excel skills, and excellent organizational abilities.

They will also possess exceptional communication skills and the ability to present complex information to management.

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £85,000 per annum, negotiable, plus bonus and benefits.
