**Job Description:** Control Program Director

**Location:** Hybrid and flexible working, with our offices based in Berkshire between Reading, Basingstoke and Newbury with onsite parking and public transport services.

**Salary:** £48,030 up to £56,000 per year.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Control Program Director at AWE. We are seeking a highly experienced individual who can lead our project controls team and ensure the successful delivery of our project programmes.

You will be responsible for managing risk, influencing project managers and procurement teams, and coordinating planning sessions and workshops. You will also need to have experience with controls/general software applications such as Primavera (P6), Power BI, and knowledge of engineering and construction management.

Responsibilities
  • Manage risk and develop qualitative and quantitative assessments to improve schedule predictability and reduce costs.
  • Support project managers and procurement teams to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to budget.
  • Coordinate and facilitate planning sessions and workshops to create a comprehensive project schedule baseline.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • At least 5 years' experience in project controls.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
