Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Infotainment Test Engineer to join our team at Expleo Group UK Jobs. As a key member of our Research and Development Team, you will play a crucial role in the validation of infotainment electrical systems, navigation, and audio systems for a major automotive manufacturer.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing testing methods and procedures for the validation of Infotainment systems
  • Ensuring vehicle-level quality, function, and reliability standards are maintained with changes to Infotainment HW and SW
  • Creating test reports and conducting root cause investigations
  • Providing technical support to the production plant and managing suppliers

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree-level qualification in a relevant field
  • Knowledge of software programming and software quality assurance
  • Experience with software application into vehicle ECUs in the manufacturing environment
  • Ability to risk assess software modifications and develop appropriate test plans
  • Understanding of network communications, including CAN and LIN
  • Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections

This role requires flexibility to travel and a valid driving license. Right to work checks will be carried out to ensure candidates are able to work within the UK.
