Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to join our UK Infrastructure business. As a Cost Manager, you will be responsible for administering contracts, providing accurate project cost monitoring, and collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Administer contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
- Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
- Monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow.
- Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables.
- Manage contract change effectively and ensure projects remain within governance.
- Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
- Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to stakeholders.
- Negotiate and agree final accounts.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication and contract management skills.
- Experience with NEC3, Option C, and cost management.
- Strong understanding of change management, valuation, risk management, procurement, estimating, pricing, and reporting.
- Collaborative approach and best-for-project attitude.
- Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters.
- Degree qualified in a relevant subject and/or professional body membership.
