As a General Assistant, you will play a key role in our kitchen team, assisting in the preparation and serving of meals, and maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities.

We offer a competitive salary of £11.50 per hour, plus overtime available, and a range of benefits including 24 weeks' enhanced maternity leave and bespoke training and development opportunities.


Job Description

As a General Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and serving breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner according to established menus and recipes.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of our facilities, including the front-of-house areas.
  • Monitoring inventory levels of food and supplies and notifying management of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Providing friendly and efficient service to students and staff during mealtimes.

Requirements
  • Ideally have experience working within Education catering.
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer-focused.
  • Fun and enthusiastic.
  • Have excellent organisation skills.
  • Demonstrate great attention to detail.
  • Be a team player and enjoy succeeding as a team.
  • Possess great customer service skills.
  • Have a flexible approach to work.
