Pediatric Nurse Specialist

Leaders In Care Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced RSCN Qualified Child Nurse to fill a Pediatric Nurse Specialist position in West Yorkshire. The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills in complex care, including peg feeds, ventilators, and tracheostomy management.
Job OverviewThis role involves providing face-to-face support to children and their families, while creating personalized care plans for each child. You will work closely with a core team of carers, training and supporting them with their clinical skills and activities.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver tailored care plans specific to individual clients' needs
- Effectively manage the multi-disciplinary team through strong communication and teamwork
- Provide ongoing monitoring, support, and assessment of clients' physical and physiological needs within your caseload
- Deliver nursing interventions, including the management of medicine delivery
- Build and maintain sophisticated relationships with clients' families
- RSCN qualification with a minimum of 12 months' experience and an active NMC PIN
- Experience working with adults, as the role initially will include looking after some adults
- Up-to-date experience of tracheostomy care and ventilators within the last 2 years
- Advanced communication skills verbally and written to liaise effectively with patients, families, and the MDT
- Suitable for Band 5/Band 6 Nurses with evidence of effective leadership and management of HCAs
The salary for this position is £38,000 per annum, plus the opportunity to earn up to £6,000 per year in tax-free bonus based on targets. Other benefits include Monday to Friday (circa 9-5) hours, private pension scheme, 45p per mile expenses, company mobile phone, and laptop.
